Software protection key (dongle) for SandNet

You will normally receive the pre-initialized dongle and adapter when you buy SandNet, but you can also buy it directly from the manufacturer and only buy the initialization code from your SandNet supplier.

This little guy is purely for software protection, and is (or can be) loaded with cryptic codes describing the SandNet level you are the proud owner of.

Do not throw it away and replace it by a new "battery". Those who did that suddenly found them selves back with the initial demo-version.
 

This is the adapter for connecting it to the parallel port of the PC:

When you have got the Dongle and the Parallel Port/USB adapter:

Connect the dongle, and start SandNet. The serial# of the dongle will show in the first popup. Send that # to Yngve Sandboe AS, and  you will receive a code file that activates the dongle as soon as the payment is ready.
